The Breadbag M44 is a simplified version of the normal breadbag.
It was introduced in november 1944 and as can be seen, the belt hook in the middle was replaced by a loop.
Also the belt loops were now fixed, and the buttons were no longer necessary

Another big difference is noticable: a pocket for the Rifle Cleaning Kit (Reinigungsgerät 34) was added.
a very faint RB nr (Reichsbetriebs nummer) can be found on the back of the bread bag.
