Kit Review of the Tamiya Waterline Series Kits

Item 31001 - LST-4001 Ohsumi and

Item 31006 - LST-4002 Shimokita

Basically these are the same kits however, as you will see there are some (big) differences.

The biggest difference is that the Shimokita has a sprue C with clear parts which allows you to see the internals of the ship.

Furthermore the Shimokita kit contains next to the LCAC's and CH-47J Chinook 2 extra sprues which
contains a load of JGSDF Vehicles, SH-60J Helicopters and Type 1 Missile Boats

Unfortunately , no decals are provided for the 3rd Vessel in this class, the LST-4003 Kinusaka
